Mikkie has trained me under many different circumstances, before pregnancy, during pregnancy and after the baby. She was my personal trainer when I was pregnant with my fourth child and it was a great experience. I never knew that someone could feel so good while being pregnant and after having a baby, I feel blessed to have experienced that.  I have tried most of Mikkies programs and would recommend them all. I find Mikkie to be well educated not only in fitness but in health and nutrition too. Her classes are well structured and fun. Her bouncy friendly personality just wraps this great experience up into the best package you could experience.

I would highly recommend any course taught by Mikkie. She is the most enthusiastic person I've ever met and it's impossible not to get caught up in her fervor. Even in a class setting Mikkie is careful to personalize the program for differing fitness levels or medical concerns. She is very knowledgeable about fitness and nutrition and is never demeaning as she imparts her knowledge. Always encouraging, never critical, Mikkie makes you feel positive about yourself.

I am very fortunate to have Mikkie Nettles as my personal trainer. About a year ago, a test revealed that both my hip and spine had low bone density.  I needed exercises to stengthen those areas. Mikkie has shown me many stretches and weight-bearing exercises that have improved not only my posture and my fitness level, but also my morale.  She is so knowledgeable, I never cease to be impressed, and I have also been inspired by her wonderful enthusiasm, her patience and her positive attitude. She makes  the exercise routine lots of fun. I highly recommend Mikkie Nettles.

I have taken several of Mikkie's classes in the past as well as done some personal training with her.  I once made the mistake of making up a stroller fit class in the intermediate group when I should have been in the beginner class.  When she says intermediate, she MEANS intermediate!  All joking aside, her classes are a lot of fun and a GREAT workout!  She really knows her stuff and personalizes your workout for you (even in a group class) if you have certain limitations.  I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone!

I have started power walking in the mornings (6 am) with my golden retreiver, Steeler.  He loves it and it is quiet at that time of day.  Thank you , Alma, for your guidience with how to walk and how to change and do something else so the walking does not kill me.  Thanks to you, I will be walking every day and hopefully with all the other healthy things I am doing I will start loosing weight again and my health should improve greatly.
