She was a member of the swim team in high school as well as competitng in gymnastics and track and field. She started training with weights after retiring from those sports, realizing bodybuilding was a sport for all ages. Lorilee has competed in the sports of fitness, figure and bodybuilding for over 20 years.

Lorilee obtained her BSc from the University of Alberta in 1986, the same year she was first certified as a Fitness Instructor. The year 2006 marked 20 years in the fitness field as an instructor, coach and trainer. She also obtained her RN at Cambrian College. She is continually upgrading and furthering her education in the field of sport nutrition, weight training and as a personal trainer.

Mikkie Nettles

Mikkie is a mother of 4, a certified BCRPA Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor, a Pre/postnatal Fitness Specialist and a Pelvic Floor Specialist. Mikkie was competitive in sports all her life, especially track and field. Her fastest mile was run in just under 5 minutes. She also played on many competitive sports teams (almost every kind from basketball to wrestling). She now coaches her kids in basketball and soccer. In the last few years she wanted to give herself a challenge in a sport she never tried, “body building,”competing in Figure and Fitness, winning her class in Fitness in 2007.

Another unique quality about Mikkie is that she works well with clients who have conditions that need special attention when training. She was born with a birth defect in her lower back and knows the delicate manner in which this area needs to be trained if there have been any sort of trauma or problems. Many adaptations are made from standard training practices. Mikkie also works with clients who have early stages of Parkinson's Disease, incontinence issues, and of course Pre/postnatal women.

Mikkie is currently upgrading her Group Fitness to become a Supervisor of Fitness Leaders (SFL). She is always striving to become a better mentor and trainer and has proved her dedication by receiving the BCRPA Personal Trainer of the Year and Group Fitness Instructor Nominee in 2006.
